Komodokat studied at The Columbus College of Art and Design, in Columbus, Ohio. Her works encompass a variety of styles that address questions about the search for one’s identity, life experiences, sociological conditioning and the psychological evolution of the self through conscious, willed action. Often times her works embrace the whimsical, surreal and fantastical, coupled with modern day themes that mix a variety of symbolism from the esoteric and mystical, to those that are self-reflexive, paradoxical and ordinary.

The stylization of her images evoke an honest quality that comes from the heart, and in her continued development, seeks to convey an emotional objectivity that can be shared by all, through the execution of her subjective lens.
